Alex Beauman is a Sydney based actor who has appeared on both stage and screen. In 2016 he was nominated for a Sydney Theatre Award for his performance as Elder Thomas in ‘The Whale’ at The Old Fitz. His television credits include ‘Hiding’ for the ABC, and two seasons of ‘Deadly Women’ for the Discovery Channel. Alex’s theatre roles include ‘DNA’ (bAkehouse@KXT/Last One Standing), ‘The Journey’s End’ (Cross Pollinate/ATYP), ‘The Whale’ (Redline Productions), ‘Two Mouths, Four Hands’ (Brave New Word), ‘Monkey’ (Creative Practice Lab), ‘On The Shore of The Wide World’ (Pants Guys/Griffin Theatre), ‘Romeo and Juliet’ (Sydney Fringe Fest), along with three seasons of children’s theatre show ‘Convict Escapades’ (Sydney Living Museum). Alex has also appeared in multiple short films and stars in the Web Series ‘Phake It’.  He has trained through NIDA’s open program, Sydney Actors Group, The Hub Studio, and with Les Chantery at The Actors Station. Currently, Alex is producing a short film with Hustle Productions that he has written and features in.
